Premium Machine Tools by Smithy and Automate CNC.
Quality, low cost, and high efficiency are built into our tools - they are guaranteed to pay their own way. Every day, our machine tools are used to make parts across North America. Our commitment is to provide the type of cost-effective tools that can make parts production a profitable endeavor.
The introduction of AutoMate CNC is the result of years of development with the goal in mind of developing quality, low cost CNC lathes and mills. AutoMate CNC lathes and mills are built to provide a step up from the variety of “personal CNC” machines available on the market.
AutoMate CNC tools are built for real production; whether you want to use your machine in a production shop or your home garage. These lathes and mills have the built-in strength, power, and speed to do real work. Far beyond what is capabile with a personal CNC machine.
Recently Detroit Machine Tools headed to Los Angeles to be part of the 2016 National Finals for BattleBots. Many of you may have seen the BattleBot competitions on ABC television in their first season this last year.
Along with Lincoln Electric, Detroit Machine Tools was invited to provide the repair workshop for this year’s nation-wide competition. More than 300 teams kept our DMT technicians hopping between battle rounds. We had a blast and saw some amazing machines up close.
